I am a registered Dietitian currently working in the National Health Service in the UK, specialising in supporting people living with obesity. I discovered Motivational Interviewing in 2006 and became a member of MINT in 2011. MI has been transformative in all areas of my work from my Dietetic practice to supervision and training.
I began to deliver training in MI in 2009 and I have had the privilege to train and coach a variety of disciplines including community support workers, doctors, physiotherapists, speech therapists, dieticians, sports coaches, amongst others. I have undergone training in MITI and MICA which has further developed my MI competency and helped guide my coaching of others.
I am dedicated to giving back to MINT. I served four years on the Program Planning Committee (PPC), as a supportive committee member in MINT UK and Ireland and more recently I had the opportunity to be a support trainer for the TNT in Copenhagen. I am also a mentor in MINT+. I was delighted to gain MINT Trainer Certification in 2023.
